PRESS: Yandex.Market allows sellers to offer parallel imports items

MOSCOW, May 13 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Yandex.Market has followed its counterparts Wildberries and Ozon in permitting the sale on its floor of goods from the parallel imports list, business daily Vedomosti reported on Friday quoting a company representative.

The Yandex.Market representative said that like with usual imports, when signing a contract with the marketplace the sellers guarantee that their products comply with all the requirements of the Russian law and are introduced into the turnover legally.

The daily said that Ozon also permitted sale of parallel imports goods. A company representative told the daily that the marketplace does not have certain products from the list yet because not all the sellers have had time to study the legal base.

Wildberries earlier allowed sellers to offer goods from the parallel imports list and said that the company takes steps to prevent sale of fake products.
